Porcelain Floor Sealer - GlazeGuard Satin Finish, Low Sheen Tile And Grout Sealer
I am extremely impressed with this product. It went on smoothly and has a beautiful shine. The directions were easy to understand and the customer service was also personal and responsive.
I plan on doing my whole floor with this product. To date, I have only tested the sample and am giving it a little time to see how it weathers. As far as I could tell, there are no other products out there for this purpose and I was so happy to come across GlazeGuard.
I highly recommend!!

Sealer worked as expected. The new tile looked worn out and faded. Just wish that the prepared sealer would have been useable for more than 60 minutes. Awesome -quick answers to my email questions. Product arrived within 4 days! The pictures provide an excellent comparison.

GlazeGuard Plus Anti Slip Floor Coating And Treatment For Ceramic, Porcelain And More
This is the second time I bought GlazeGuard. The first time my contractor did not want to glaze the floor and recommended one to me. Well, it only absorbed the dirt and made it difficult to remove. I went and got the GlazeGuard and put it over that. However, I did it way too thick. It still looked good, but not the best. So I went and smoothed it down a little bit and put more of the GlazeGuard over that! lol it finally looks nice! It wasn’t a difficult thing to do but you should not be glazing over a glaze. But it came out good. It was very easy to apply. I did not use a brush the second time though, I used a glazing sponge that I got from Home Depot. It’s a great product and if I ever need it again, I will definitely be using this.

GlazeGuard Plus Anti Slip Floor Coating And Treatment For Ceramic, Porcelain And More
We recently had our rear patio retiled and although it was new, it looked a little dull. We wanted to protect it and give it some life. We used Cover Tec glaze and you can see the clean look from the attached photo.
We used the same product on our front patio and it looks just as good as as importantly, survived Arizona s brutal summer last year. The product is easy enough to mix and application is easy enough just ensure you follow the directions.
One thing that would make the product even better, would be if it could be tinted with a color so you can see where you've been yet dry clear.

Oil Resistant Concrete Sealer – CoverShield U140 Gloss Finish
We needed a product that was fast cure due to timing constraints on a fast track press pit project.
Application was very easy and cure time excellent. We were able to have the press pit sealed and ready the day before the stamping press installation.
Couldnt be happier with the product, that and we now have a product that we will be able to use with confidence for future sealing projects.
Overall excellent experience, thank you.

18" Microfiber Flat Mop Frame
I've been using this mop frame in my cleaning business, and it has exceeded all expectations.
The durable aluminum frame feels solid and built to last, and the plastic-covered edges are a thoughtful touch to avoid scratching customers' wall surfaces. The angled sides make it easy to reach tricky corners and along baseboards, saving me time and effort. Plus, the swiveling head is a game-changer for applying sealers and coatings evenly, without my carpal tunnel acting up. The hook-and-loop design holds the mop pads nicely in place, even during heavy-duty cleaning. If you're serious about applying a floor cleaner or sealer, this mop frame is a must-have!

What Is A Microbial Cleaner For Oil & Diesel Stains?
A Microbial Cleaner is a solution that contains bacteria or microbes developed specifically for breaking down and consuming oil.
There are different types of microbes. Some work better with food-based oil and grease. Others work with petroleum-based things like motor oil, cutting oil and brake fluid.
They’re used generally to get oil out of concrete surfaces. They don’t just thin out the oil, they actually consume the oil and leave no residue.
They are used as a method of cleaning concrete, so that you can come back later and coat them, put a floor surface on concrete, or they’re used to eliminate odor.
For example:
There’s been an oil spill in a basement.
You want to remove that oily smell that resulted from the spill.
Using a microbial cleaner designed for eliminating or removing oil from concrete chemically, you will remove the cause of the odor.
What Is CoverClean HC Cleaner?
Coverclean HC is a microbial cleaner that uses microbes to break down petroleum-based stains or hydrocarbons.
The “HC” in the product’s name stands for: hydrocarbons. And the microbes used in it literally break down – consume and remove – the hydrocarbons from concrete and other porous surfaces.
Typical degreasers from a big-box stores or a DIY brands just thin out the oil on the floor surface. They contain solvents which thin out the oil and spread it over a larger area, allowing you to wash it away.
The LIVE microbes Coverclean HC consume the oil, leaving behind very little to no residue. It’s a much more effective (and eco-friendly, envrionmentally safe) way of removing the oil from within the pores of the concrete. IF any residue is left in the water – or in the solution after applying it to the concrete – is much less concentrated.
Essentially, the contaminants have been consumed as opposed to spread out across your floor. This is a very effective way of cleaning industrial floors.

Before

After
Areas such as:
- Factories that generate a lot of oil through manufacturing.
- Workshops
- Gas stations (inside and outside).
This product is also useful in consumer situations like a residential driveway or garage where you may get oil stains. At the very least, CoverClean HC is much more effective in removing oil-based stains and spills than a typical citrus-based or a high alkaline-based degreasers.
How Do Microbial Cleaners Work?
Microbial cleaners work by breaking down the oil. The microbes actually consume hydrogen and carbon, and convert them into water and carbon dioxide. These “leftovers” are easily rinsed off or washed away.
When applying CoverClean HC, we use water to dampen in the surface first. This helps the microbes get into the porous surface and begin naturally feeding off any oil that is present.
This process is very effective in deep cleaning oil contaminated surfaces.
This is the same oil you will find on the floors in:
- A factory
- A workshop
- A gas station exterior, around the pumps
- On your driveway
- On your garage floor.
What Are The Benefits Of Using Microbial Cleaners?
The major benefit of using microbial cleaner products – like CoverClean HC – is that they don’t leave a residue.
Again, the product actually consumes the oil, as opposed to just thinning it out and spreading it across your concrete surface.
If you use a typical degreaser, all it will do is apply a solvent which thins out the oil and spread it over a larger area. It’s a neat trick, but it does not eliminate the oil.
CoverClean HC eats the oil, actually removing it from the surface. The result is no residue. This means you could top coat that surface, or apply another flooring surface over the concrete – without the coating lifting or peeling.
Another benefit to using a professional grade microbial cleaner is that it’s also environmentally friendly. There’s nothing hazardous in there. There are no V.O.C.s or solvents to worry about. Due to the fact that there is nothing hazardous in the product, it’s very safe to use. It won’t harm anyone or anything living (like fish, pets or kids).
CoverClean HC is particularly effective at eliminating oily odors very quickly. This is due primarily to its’ ability to work deep into the concrete pores – after dampening the surface – to eat all of the oil present in the floor. This also prevents any possibility of oil bleeding back to the surface.
The Best Way To Apply CoverClean HC Microbial Cleaner
Since CoverClean HC uses naturally occurring microbes to break down the oil (hydrocarbons), it’s important not to use anything caustic when applying the product.
Use room temperature water to wet the surface, and apply the CoverClean HC. (Freezing or hot water will destroy the microbes.)
You can mop it on the floor, or use a pump up sprayer to apply it to the surface. Then give it some time to react with the surface. We recommend scrubbing it in with a brush. Just to work it into the surface, and then allow it to soak into the concrete.
If it starts to dry out, then apply some more cleaner, or mist it with some additional water. You can do this with a hose or pump up sprayer. Don’t forget that water is the transportation vehicle for CoverClean HC to get those living microbes deep into the concrete pores.
The longer you leave the product on the surface, the more effective it will be. If you can leave it overnight, you’ll get even a better result. You should see results after three (3) hours.
If the surface has heavy contamination, we recommend soaking the floor, letting the product work overnight and rinsing it off in the morning.
Don’t mix the product with any other types of cleaners. That can destroy the living microbes.
Why Do Microbial Cleaners Have A Shelf Life?
Microbial cleaners have a shelf life because essentially they’re living organisms. Typically, the microbes live for 12 months – if they’re stored in a cool environment.
If the surrounding temperature gets over 120 degrees, they could die. On the other hand, you don’t want to store them in freezing conditions either.
We recommend storing your CoverClean HC in a place where there are no extremes in temps. In those conditions, the product will be effective for about 12 months. However, after this time has elapsed, the microbes tend to deteriorate.
They break down and are not as active as they would be inside of that 12 month shelf-life period.

FAQs
How to repair or recoat GlazeGuard?
GlazeGuard is a tough clear sealer and very hard wearing. It tends to keep its shine for a long time but it can still be scratched. Especially if you drag sharp objects, like heavy kitchen appliances or point loads like table legs or chair legs.
To spot repair or recoat entire area it is not necessary to strip the sealer, you just need to sand or scrub the surface clean so it can be top coated. Sand with 120 grit sand paper or scrub with black pad and GlossGlean neutral cleaner. Clean off the dust or residue and apply a top coat. For more detailed instructions see GlazeGuard Maintenance instructions.
Cleaning GlazeGuard?
GlazeGuard when fully cured has a hard surface so dirt does not easily stick to it. You don’t need to use aggressive cleaners. An part of maintaining your floor is to use dust mop or “swiffer” type microfiber mop to keep sand and dirt off the floor. After that to wash the floor you can use neutral clean or mild liquid detergents, light vinegar solutions, or light ammonia solutions.
Stay away from solvents like Paint strippers, Acetone and Xylene. If you do have use concentrated cleaners/degreasers. Clean up residue right away. In general make sure all standard floor cleaners are diluted in accordance with manufactures instructions. For more information see GlazeGuard Maintenance instructions.
