What are the issues around cleaning ceramic tile? Grease spills, oil and sugary stains can be absorbed into the pores of porous or semi porous ceramic tile. They collect in the microscopic indentations and fissures of the hard surface. Even if your tiles are impervious, the grout is not, and it too can absorb grease. These microbes penetrate deep into the pores of the surface cleaning grease and embedded oils which conventional cleaning solutions typically leave behind.
